The design department was opened in the U.S. PRO in 2017. We deal with all types of commercial properties: shops, offices, HoReCa facilities, and public areas for different purposes.

U.S. PRO designers will meet the needs of any level of retailer. The project work is fully focused on the requirements of business entities such as shopping and business centers, restaurants and cafes. Within a tight deadline, we will design and combine the brand's business objectives with the aesthetic component.

Design stages

The structure of the design project can vary depending on the tasks and can be supplemented in the course of the work. A complete project includes 8 steps.

Meet with a client

  • The first meeting with the client is an important aspect of an architect-designer's work in order to understand the task as clearly as possible.

We measure the premises

  • A designer-architect takes the measurements to understand the space and the nuances of the future work.

We take into account the ergonomics, architecture, purpose and aesthetics of the facility

  • Initially, it is required to determine the basis of the project: the layout. This step is thoroughly examined, as it must meet ergonomic requirements, architectural standards and aesthetic design.

Creating a sketch

  • During the sketching stage any approach can be taken that is best suitable for the area and other characteristics of the project. This may include selecting and coordinating references with the client or 3D presentation in a draft form.

  • In some cases the sketch is not used.

Developing visualization

  • Visualization allows the designer to work out the interior of premises in detail, to think about lighting and to create a 'scenario' for the future use of the completed object. Whereas a sketch is essentially an initial plan reflecting the concept of the project, a visualization allows the client to see the how it is supposed to be implemented.

We offer design solutions

  • Basic plans required to hand over the design project to the architect-designer to work on the architectural project.

Selecting interior elements

  • The selection of interior elements is an essential aspect of an architect-designer's work in every project.

  • This step will help the project to conform to the agreed visualization. If a component such as lights, small and large decor or furniture elements are replaced, the architect-designer can offer an alternative solution without affecting the design.

  • It also includes the recommendation of suppliers and contractors to work with the designer on the project, excluding construction and installation work (CIW) contractors.

Provide designer’s supervision

  • An important part of the architect-designer's work. Depending on location, site visits are carried out several times a week - the frequency is agreed upon before the contract is signed. The designer's supervision helps to resolve a number of complex issues for the client during the implementation of the project.

  • Due to designer’s supervision all possible nonconformities can be detected, adjusted during the construction process and prevented in future.

  • A designer may be required to be on the site during the installation of equipment, decor or lighting if there are complex design features affecting the visual quality of the finished project.
